Cory Williamson sends on the following update:
The sturgeon are spawning in Vanderhoof right now [received Monday) – the crews have captured eggs twice (Friday and Sunday). Sunday’s eggs were caught over one of the gravel pads. We begin sampling tomorrow for hatchery larvae (at hatch) to assess the success of the habitat augmentation. We expect to see free swimming larvae (15 day olds) around the 20th of June or so.
