Naturalists Club news for members – February 26th, 2014

Hello members,

Good news! The Club is now officially incorporated as a Society. The newly approved constitution and bylaws are available on the Membership page.
The Annual General Meeting is confirmed for Thursday March 27 at Exploration Place at 7 p.m. Guest speaker is Doug Heard talking about the moose population in northern BC. Detailed information on the AGM will be sent out soon.
The City of Prince George is developing a Community Services Master Plan for parks and recreation. The City is looking for input from residents. Two Community Conversation public meetings are scheduled for March 4 at the Civic Centre. Several online surveys are also available. For more information on the Master Plan, meetings and surveys, check out the City’s website: Services Master Plan.aspx
This is a chance for all parks and recreation users to let the City know what our pools, parks, trails and other indoor and outdoor spaces mean to us. The Public Input survey seeks opinions about how to pay for these services. The Seniors Survey (aged 55 and older) does not. People aged 55 and older may want to complete both surveys in order to get their opinions on record.
